Went today January 11th around 1-2PM Everything was really wonderful and the customer service was awesome! The staff was very friendly and made sure that we got everything we needed. They refilled coffee, even the syrup dispenser, and made sure that we had everything that we needed. The restaurant was like a comfy little cottage and there was great lighting and comfortable seating. We will definitely come back. My Mom and I had a great time. It's hard finding a good brunch place in Vancouver and I think we found our spot :)
This is a family owned business and I heard they do a good job. I went there for breakfast with my old breakfast buddy and again with an out of town friend. The service both times was good and the food was good. Breakfast is one of my favorite meals out. This place is quiet enough you can hold a conversation with others and the ambiance is appreciated by being in an old house, of which I know nothing of the history. So to sum up, good service, good food and reasonable prices. This place is family friendly.
For those in search of a delightful find, Victoria's Cafe is a must-visit! The warm and welcoming ambiance makes it an ideal venue for a relaxed dining experience. The staff provides heartfelt and attentive service, contributing to the charming atmosphere. You'll feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer. Now, let's dive into the cuisine--it's absolutely on point! While the offerings may not be extravagant, each dish is packed with robust flavors that highlight the chef's expertise. Whether you're a resident or a traveler, this lively spot is certainly worth a visit. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful meal in such a distinctive environment!
What a lovely place. Clean, organized, friendly and really great food. I had the mega skillet which comes with two eggs prepared to your liking, country fried potatoes, bell peppers & onions and generous amounts of both ham & bacon. Something I really loved is that it comes with toast OR pancakes. I went with the pancakes (duh) and was surprised to get THREE! I mean, they're not giant, but still THREE! And the cook made perfect over-medium eggs) be still, my heart). Not overly fancy, but a quaint little place I will be going to again. Soon.
Used to be Christine's cafe before Covid I was hungry and tired and wanted some comfort food upon coming in I was greeted by a young kid who I believe is the new owner son really nice guy. The menu was simple but perfectly portioned and the soup was delicious I will say my only complaint was upon entering tables were not clean and dishes were still left on tables got keep a clean presentation on the front end 1st impressions matter and that threw me off a bit. Service was quick however upon finishing my 1st glass of water I normally place my glass on the outside indicating I'd like a refill the wait for refill was not as quick as I was expecting it took enough bites where my mouth was definitely wanting some water but eventually he did notice and came and refill my drink the family has a very positive attitude and waiter was very engaged over all the experience wasn't terrible minor areas for improvement like checking on guest perhaps a few times while the main course is being consumed and keep the front end as clean as possible the ambiance hasn't changed much which brought me back some peace that Christine place had been known for its peaceful quiet and relaxing over all solid 4/5 and I'll definitely be back again and recommend coming by for a solid breakfast.
Recently relocated to Vancouver and hunting for my breakfast spot. Parking is tight, but I was able to easily park my full sized truck. The restaurant itself is a converted house. It's very cute and gives off a Mom's House kind of feel. The service was great, I received a water and coffee almost bad I walked in the door. My server was attentive but got busy and forgot one of my requests. Now the information stuff, the food. I ordered the California Omelette, I needed some veggies in my life. It did not disappoint, the avocado was fresh and the omelette had a lot of onions and peppers. For my sides I chose crispy hash browns, done perfectly, and a biscuit and gravy. The gravy tasted like it was from a mix and not doctored much. The biscuits was soft and delicious, but I don't think it was baked on site. Overall, Victoria's was great and I will be back to try other menu items.
